AL TRAHAN

In July of 2020, we mad the decision to move Al (and Barb) from Ohio to Arizona so that Scott & Aubrey could assist with his rehabilitation and allow Barb to get the break she so desperately needed from doing things on her own for so long.  It has been a long journey with many highs and lows but, with persistence, patience, and perseverance, Al was able to get back up on his feet again after nearly 8 months of being bedridden.  Al continues to improve the strength in his legs, is eating healthy and putting on some of the weight that he lost during the initial year of his recovery.  It has been a blessing to be able to have more hands to help with Al's care and rehabilitation.  It truly does take an Army.  We know we will never get the old Al back and he struggles with the mental effects of his TBI on a daily basis which, may never improve.  However, we are so very grateful that he is still here with us after such a grim prognosis in the beginning.
